Preserving kidney function in a single kidney survivor with a history of pyeloplasty

A single kidney survivor, aged 35 years, with a history of pyeloplasty to the lone kidney, with elevated TSH levels approached me to better his kidney health.

Tailored dlife LCHF, with adequate amount of animal  protein without letting CKD to progress.  With months of lchf, his creatine dropped from 1.65to 1.36, with decent exercises. His favourite sweet was included in the diet all within 100g carb max per day and maintained normal electrolyte levels.  His TSH dropped from 6.29 to 4.08.

Moderate exercise included light weight training and cardio to certain extent.
